Jiaosi is also called the "Hometown of Hot Springs" due to its special geological structure with many faults and underground heat sources rich in hot springs; therefore, there are many hotels and "onsen" rooms available here, with the numbers ranking the highest in the Lanyang area.

The only hot spring located in the plains of Taiwan, Jiaosi Hot Springs has sodium bicarbonate springs with crystal clear water that is rich in carbonic acid, calcium, sodium, magnesium, iron, ammonium, boron and other sulfonamide substances. The hydrogen ion concentration is 7.5, and the water is colorless, tasteless and non-irritating; the average water temperature is about 57℃.

The source of the Jiaosi Hot Springs is located in the mountain behind Fuchong Temple in Deyang Village. Jiaosi Hot Springs' finest area is centered at the site of the Jiaosi Train Station. Within a radius of 1.2 square kilometers from the Jiaosi Train Station, there is a complete hot spring zone with abundant groundwater upon drilling.

Rules for hot spring use:
01、	Please shower before enjoying the hot spring pool.
02、	Those with chronic diseases such as heart disease, lung disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and other circulatory system disorders should follow their doctors' instructions regarding bathing.
03、	Keep hydrated with an appropriate amount of water after bathing.
04、	Bathe sequentially from feet, half length of the body, and then the whole body. The height of the water during bathing should not pass the chest.
05、	If you feel any discomfort while in the hot spring pool, please leave the pool immediately and notify our staff.
06、	After long-distance travel, excessive fatigue or intense exercise, please take an appropriate rest before bathing.
07、	Those with contagious diseases are not allowed to bathe.
08、	Those experiencing their period (menstruation) are not allowed to bathe.
09、	Pets are not allowed to bathe.
10、	Pregnant women, those with mobility problems, the elderly and children should avoid bathing alone.
11、	Bathing is not permitted for those who are drunk or those who have eaten too much or too little.
12、	Bathe for less than 15 minutes every time and total bathing time should not exceed one hour.
13、	After bathing, please do not go directly into the sauna
